Judy A. Carissimo, 75, of Rome entered into eternal peace with dignity on Saturday February 12, 2022 at Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born in Rome, NY, on April 30, 1946 to the late, Donald P. and Helen E. Perry Bostwick. She was educated in Rome schools and was married to the late John P. Carissimo. Judy spent the majority of her career working for multiple government contractors finishing as an administrative assistant with the Neighborhood Center. Judy was a strong woman who was loved by all who met her and was feisty till the end. She thoroughly enjoyed travel, shopping, and spending time on Siesta Key. She will be greatly missed. Judy is survived by her daughter Amy Beth Carissimo (Tim Harris); son John Aaron (Stephanie) Carissimo; grandchildren Nickolas, Abby, Helen, Soleil, Summer, Johnna; and brother Mark (Marie) Bostwick; along with many nieces and nephews. Judy was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Donny and Bruce Bostwick. The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Park for their compassionate care during Judy's time of need. Private services will take place at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to make contributions in Judy's name to the Humane Society of Rome, P.O. Box 4572, Rome NY 13442-4572. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J.
