Fannie Charlotte (Phetterplace) Malouf

1931 – 2024

Fannie Charlotte Malouf, 92, of Rome, passed away on Thursday February 1, 2024, at home. She was born on August 29, 1931, daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Hanniker Phetterplace. Charolotte attended Rome schools. She married Nahiem Malouf on September 22, 1962, at St. Basil Church in Utica. He passed away on June 19, 2013. Charlotte was an EKG Technician at the former Griffiss Air Force Base Hospital in Rome. She was a volunteer at Faxton Hospital in Utica. 

Surviving is a brother, Charles Phetterplace, Jr., of Mohawk, N.Y., a niece, Patricia (Lou) Ciotti, of Rome, and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Phetterplace, as well as three brothers, Lyle, Kenneth and Robert Phetterplace, and two sisters, Mary Hall, and Mildred Hatch

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charlotte’s name may be made to Memorials Processing, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

A Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 2407 Oneida Street, Utica, N.Y. 13501, on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. There are no calling hours.
