Irene Scalise posted a condolence
Larry will be missed so very much by myself and all the staff here at St. John the Evangelist Church in New Hartford. He was an active member of our parish and I have not met a nicer man, so willing to help, so willing to do for anyone, so quick with his smile, laugh and stories...stories about the war, being in the bomber, the wonderful meals at his sister-in-law's home, his son who he was SOOO proud of, his wife who he missed so terribly, his music -big band and jazz and so much more. We were so very fortunate to have known such a wonderful and giving man. He endeared himself to all of us here at St. John's and Wednesdays (the day he would visit the nursing home and stop in for communion) will never be the same without him. I have all the tapes, cd's and dvd's that he made for me and I will always remember him in my thoughts and prayers. We have all lost a great man.
