I only spoke to Mr. Carrado a couple of times over the phone in regard to an article I wrote about him and Kokomo, Jr. He was funny, cooperative and a joy to interview. He will be missed.

I miss him. He scared me when I first went to work selling Monkey Tape in Matthews NC. I did not know he passed. I grew to love him like a father and a friend. I have never had more respect for anyone than I had for Nick. I am so happy he is at rest and as much as I loved Nick I loved Nancy as well. Prayers to you all and I'm so sorry for your loss. He will always have a special place in my heart.
