I will miss him very much. I used to deliver papers to the neighborhood and would stop in and talk with him all the time. We would kid each other alot. He knew my parents well. He was funny and along with Andy Venturo, they could lay it on you. I am glad that i still visited him after my days of delivering papers were over. It was great to have conversations with him on a yearly basis up until this past spring. He still would call me "turkey" Turner. I will take him and his family's influence with me for the rest of my life.
Rest in peace Mr. D

Mrs. Diliberto, Mike and family- please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of Bennie Sr. I met him in the early 60's at Rome American Little League at Pinti field.
He was Coaching and my Dad was the President. Later in life we came in contact with each other when I worked at a local hardware store. He was always fun to talk with
and we would talk about the old days. He was a true gentleman and will be missed.

I will always remember my Uncle Benny as a very dapper and handsome man. For some reason , even as a kid , I always thought of him in this way. While my Aunt Dorthy ,(Who I only recently found out was Violet), was a bundle of laughs ,I always thought Uncle Benny had that sort of quiet smile that let you know he could "Raise Hell " with the best of them when he wanted. To say that I loved and admired them ,though life and time took it's toll on our closeness , is without the proper words. And to read of his lifes trials and accomplishments , giving of himself to others despite his age ,has built even more our respect for him. God willing we will all be granted a special spot His Garden, where we can meet again. Rest in eternal pease Uncle Benny,Bobby.
