My deepest sympathy goes out to Camille and the Guglielmo family. Ron was my teammate on the basketball and baseball teams at Westmoreland High school. He was a great competitor and I have lost another friend that shared many enjoyable times with. Jim Meskan Minden,Nv.

I spent a lot of time at the Guglielmo house growing up, like it was my second home. On many Saturdays we would pile into Mr. G's cool van -the one with carpet everywhere -even the walls!! ,I always thought that was so cool, and go to Bryan's hockey games. We'd spend hours in the pool that he kept meticulous. On Sunday, it was cleaning day and the carpet had to be just so and have the vacuum lines on it (not sure if that was Mr. or Mrs. G) but I recall pitching in a time or two. I knew to go home after spaghetti dinner because the Jets would come on and it got very LOUD (in the proper Italian way). Occasionally Kerry and I would visit her dad at the restaurant and he would be surrounded at the bar with the locals that were probably family, if not, who could tell? They spoke to each other like they were brothers. (I use to think they were in the mob). The setting was kinda perfect- dark and moody. He would give you that look that says "What the hell d'you want?" I learned to not take that personally! When I got married he offered to cook for my rehearsal dinner which I wouldn't have had it any other way! He was such a big part of my life. As time went on I saw him much less but he has always been in my heart. Rest in peace Mr. G.

Ronnie was one of the few people in Rome, NY that honestly befriended and looked out for me. He was surely and honorable man
and one that I will forever hold in my heart and honor with the deepest Respect.

So sorry for your loss. I really liked your father. He always had time to say hi to me and have a laugh. Prayers for you.
