Ronald Guglielmo, 82, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2020, after a long and courageous battle with Lewy Body dementia. He was born on July 12, 1938, in Rome, NY, to Leonard and Beatrice Simiele Guglielmo. Ron was united in marriage to his lifelong love of 63 years, Camille Carissimo Guglielmo on December 14, 1957, in Rome. Ron served his country in the Army Reserves. He worked in the restaurant business his entire life, owning and operating the Red Coach Restaurant for 25 years. He loved spending Sunday afternoons cursing at the Jets and was also an avid Mets fan. . He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His family will miss all of the laughs and stories he shared with them. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Camille; his daughters Rhonda (Chris) Ingham, Kerry (Scott) Wittmann; his sons Ron (Melissa) Guglielmo, Bryan (Theresa) Guglielmo; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson,, a brother, Joseph (Ruth) Williams; sisters; Jacqueline Carroll, Patricia (Lenny) Rutledge; a sister-in-law, Angeline Guglielmo; and several nieces and nephews, his canine pal, Tanner.. He was predeceased by a daughter, Alicia; and brothers Leonard, Richard, and Anthony Guglielmo. The family would like to thank the staff on Wing 1 at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rome, for the excellent care they provided to Ron. Funeral Services will be private for the family. Those attending are required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. There are no calling hours.
