December 25, 1977 – March 25, 2022

 

Darlene M. Angelicchio, 44, of Oneida, sadly passed away from medical complications on Friday March 25th, 2022. Darlene was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of Francis A. and Laurie M. Broton Bisesi. She grew up in Liverpool and graduated from Bishop Ludden High School and received her undergraduate degree from Hofstra University. Darlene continued on to acquire her master's in psychology from Adelphi University. She was a strong advocate for mental health and devoted her life to providing services to others. Darlene successfully ran Professional Counseling Services, Inc. as CEO specializing in addiction recovery. She was a board member for BRiDGES.

 

Survivors include the light of her life, her husband, Mike Angelicchio of 5 years and son, Maxwell; mother, Laurie Bisesi of Naples, FL; sister, Michelle (Rob) Harris of Hopkinton, MA; brother, AJ (Melissa) Bisesi of Marlborough, MA; nieces and nephews, Connor and Eloise Harris, Francis and Abigail Bisesi, Jack and Sam Defazio; and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Darlene was predeceased by her father Francis Anthony Bisesi.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 12:00 noon at St. John the Baptist Church, 210 E. Dominick St., Rome, NY, with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. Visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m., – 12:00 p.m., prior to the Funeral Mass. Private Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Darlene's name to: Bridges, P.O. Box 389, 1507 Upper Lenox Ave.,  Oneida, New York 13421.
