I am so sorry I was not able to make the calling hours. Dr. Amidon was a pillar in the community. My condolences go out to all the family. I grew up with Dr. Jeff and sorry I could not be there. Thoughts and prayers to everyone.

To the family of Dr. Joel Sr. I met Dr. Joel in the eighth grade. That is a long time ago. I considered him one of my best friends through all the years since then. He was my physician as well as my parents and children's physician. We all had the greatest respect and confidence in him. He was wonderful to us.
Socially he was good company. Our family and our friends had wonderful times with your father. He had a great sense of humor. I can man remember many events where good times were had.
My family and I am very saddened by his passing. I know he will be remembered by many. He is a great loss. May he Rest in Peace. I am sure he will be always with you in your memories and in your hearts. I am sorry I could not be there, but I will be thinking of you all during this coming week.

great man, great doctor, excellent teacher. many years back being new in pharma sales he always took the time to explain things, having extreme patience, and a positive caring demeanor. he passed these same character traits on to his son Joel Jr. Rest in Peace Dr. Amidon and thank you for your many years of caring for patients in our area.
